Eastlink Launches 4G LTE Network in Greater Sydney

Eastlink has announced this afternoon their 4G LTE network is now live in Greater Sydney, along with Glace Bay as well.

“We are excited to bring people in the Sydney area the best possible wireless experience, including easy-to-understand and flexible plans, great value for money, and excellent customer service – all from a proudly local provider,” said Eastlink Wireless President Matthew MacLellan.

The company has also opened a new wireless-only retail location in Mayflower mall.

Last month, Eastlink announced they had signed on with one of the ‘Big 3’ to expand their wireless coverage for Atlantic Canada, as customers now have expanded local roaming capabilities, thanks in part to the CRTC implementing a cap on roaming charges.
