For those that buy their cellular iPads from carriers, Bell has confirmed with us they will be offering LTE versions of the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 “later in October”.

Last year, Rogers Telus and Bell launched cellular iPad Air sales the same day as Apple’s launch. If history repeats itself, there’s a very good chance the same would happen again this year.

Apple this year is selling cellular iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 models with preinstalled Apple SIM cards, allowing US and UK customers to easily switch between carriers and data plans. While Apple only mentioned the US and UK as partners to start, it would only make sense for the Big 3 in Canada to support this as well.

Apple’s iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 launch is set to debut on Friday, October 24. Expect our Big 3 carriers to similarly launch cellular iPad sales this day too.
