Watch the iPhone 6 Plus vs Galaxy Note 4 Speedtest [VIDEO]

Earlier this month YouTube channel PhoneBuff posted a speedtest of the iPhone 6 against the Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8. Now, the channel has released another speedtest video, but this time pitting the iPhone 6 Plus against the Galaxy Note 4.
The test has both devices opening the same apps in order and then going back to these apps again, with the ‘fastest’ device finishing its test by stopping the stopwatch.
If you’re into tests where app opening speeds are tested alone, this video might be of interest to you, which reveals the winner as the Note 4 by a few seconds:
The Galaxy Note 4 runs a 5.7-inch Quad HD display at 2560 x 1440 (3.6 million pixels) with 3GB of RAM along with a 2.7GHz quad core or 1.9GHz Octa Core (in Asia) processor.
The iPhone 6 Plus runs a 5.5-inch display at 1080 x 1920 (2.07 million pixels) along with a 1.4GHz dual core A8 chip with only 1GB of RAM.
We can look at this test in two ways: the Galaxy Note 4 showing its speed given its top tier hardware, or the iPhone 6 Plus showing off its efficiency thanks to Apple’s control over both hardware and software. What do you think?

Have to say, who cares? None of this matters in real life.
Agreed. I’m happy with my iPhone 6 Plus. There are other fantastic phones out there but I’m happy with what I’ve got and a couple seconds in a test like that means squat.
boom. apple is doomed.

Time to buy a BlackBerry Pearl again! BBM!
What a waste. My $179 moto G is just as fast in real world use.
Yes the Note 4 is the undisputed KING of phablets. “BEND” and bow to your “MASTER” iPhone 6 plus!!! LMAO!!!
3 seconds faster on a processor that should be 5 or 6 times the speed is NOT impressive.
Both devices are good. Just buy the one you like and move on. These videos are good for comparison but you’ll find videos elsewhere showing wins on either side whether it be benchmark tests, sales figures or speed tests. Use them for your research before you decide which is best for you and that’s it.
The Note 4 has 2-4x the power but only manages to beat out the iPhone 6 plus by a few secs. hmmm..
