Re/code has finally posted the full video interview with longtime Apple VP Greg Joswiak. The Apple exec took a seat in the iconic red chair at the recent Code/Mobile conference to talk about what makes Apple Apple.

During the 34-minute interview, Joswiak talks about multiple topics, starting with his position at Apple, through the issues with the iOS 8.0.1 release, the bugs users have found in iOS 8, and more.

You may recall the faulty iOS 8.0.1 release that bricked iPhone 6 units: well, as Joswiak explains, the problem wasn’t with the software itself, but with how it was distributed.

While Apple was quick to address the issue — the faulty software was out for about an hour — Walt Mossberg asked the unpleasant question: such hiccups make users scratch their heads and maybe question Apple’s image of releasing products that “just work.” How can a company like Apple afford such missteps? he asks.

Joswiak has the right answers to these questions, and many others as well. You can watch the full interview below.
