Uber Has Partnered With True Patriot Love to Bring Canadian Veterans on as Driving Partners

Today, Uber announced a new initiative in partnership with True Patriot Love called UberFORCES. The two companies will work to bring former members of the military and their spouses on as driving partners.

“True Patriot Love is an ideal partner for Uber. With their strong commitment to Canadian Forces, Veterans and their families, True Patriot Love is supporting the people and families that sacrifice to defend and protect our country – Canadian heroes that Uber works to celebrate, as well.”

Uber Canada intends to introduce veterans and their spouses to Uber while giving them an option to earn a flexible income. Vice-Chair at True Patriot Love Michael Burns said:

“As Special Advisor to UberFORCES, I am proud that the partnership between TPL and Uber will provide entrepreneurial opportunities to members of Canada’s military community. We’ve seen the success of Uber’s efforts in the United States and we are excited to see it succeed here in Canada.”

President of Uber Canada Angela Mondou talked about the benefits that Canadian Veterans will receive from the partnership with True Patriot Love.

“The True Patriot Love – Uber partnership will provide tremendous benefit to hundreds of Canadian Vets with an Entrepreneurial passion. TPL and Canada Company have been able to collaborate on many different programs and this service will help broaden the services spectrum for Veterans.”

All UberFORCES partners will see added benefits, like waived Uber fees for the first month. As an UberFORCES partner, if you refer other military community member you will also be entitled to other benefits and gain a referral bonus.
