If you missed last month’s sale on the iOttie Easy One Touch 2 car mount, it has just dropped in price again this morning on Amazon.ca to $19.99, savings of $13 (39% off), eligible for free shipping (for orders over $25) and Prime.
What makes the iOttie Easy One Touch 2 so awesome is its easy one-handed operation to mount and un-mount your iPhone or Android device. You just press in on the sides to un-mount and to mount, you just place your iPhone into the holder and it ‘snaps’ shut.
We were skeptical of this mount despite its high accolades online, but after buying it ourselves and using it for the past month, it’s by far the best iPhone car mount we’ve tried. It works great with our iPhone 6 Plus.
The sticky gel pad suction on the bottom allows it to hold securely even to textured dashboards (there’s a 2-stage suction), it can be arranged in landscape or portrait, plus it even telescopes out 2-inches so you can get a closer view of your phone (but it does wobble slightly at its full extension).
We did experience the suction falling off our textured dashboard though after three weeks–probably because we didn’t follow instructions to clean the dashboard area first before applying the suction (#impatient). But other than that, this mount has been pretty solid.

I was a little skeptical at first. After trying it out, it’s certainly the easiest and fastest phone holder using one hand. Just put the phone on the holder, it snaps and holds your phone in place. Squeeze the spring loaded switches with thumb and index finger to release the phone.
