Yesterday, Screeny received an update which adds native support for the iPad. The app now has a custom design and user interface that takes advantage of the tablet’s large display.

The update also includes the ability to find your screenshots a lot faster than before, in addition to some bug fixes and design tweaks. Here is a full list of features included in the latest update:

What’s New in Version 1.2

– Screeny is now optimized for your iPad

– Finds screenshots faster than before

– Fixed Zero Kb error which resurfaced for some users (apologies for that)

– Custom design for iPad ( with an easy way to unselect all screenshots – because shaking an iPad looks funny sometimes)

– Couple of other bug fixes and design tweaks

Version 1.1

– Long press on screenshots now shows a full screen preview

– You can now filter screenshots that are marked as favorite in the camera roll

– Screeny now detects screenshots taken in landscape mode as well

– Fixed a bug where some users were getting Zero KB as approximate space saved

– Layouts optimized for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus

– Squashed a few other bugs as well

Screeny is a utility app that helps you save space consumed by screenshots. It screens your camera roll and helps you to filter and delete screenshots that are no longer necessary. Photos that you take using your iPhone’s camera can take up a lot of space on your device. If a photo is more than three months old, the app will point them out and prompt you to make a backup of the photos and delete them from your device in order to reclaim some storage space.

Screeny for iOS is available to download from the App Store for $0.99. The app requires a device running iOS 8 or later and has been optimized for the iPad along with the iPhone 5, 6, and 6 Plus.
