Apple Introduces ‘Made for Business’ Program in Select Stores

iPhone 6S Rumoured to Pack 2 GB of LPDDR4 Memory
The next-generation iPhone could pack 2 GB of LPDDR4 RAM, according to sources speaking to TechNews Taiwan (via GforGames). The sources also reiterate an earlier whisper that “Force Touch” (a feature mentioned in relation to Apple Watch) will make its way into the iPhone 6S.
You may recall that Apple has decided to double the amount of RAM found in the iPad with the iPad Air 2, but it left the amount of RAM – 1 GB since the iPhone 5 – unchanged in the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Also, it used LPDDR3 RAM in its latest devices.
This is about to change, say sources: Apple will take a huge step forward by doubling the amount of RAM to 2 GB and using the latest technology, LPDDR4, which is designed to significantly boost the memory speed and efficiency of mobile devices. LPDDR4 will operate at an I/O rate of 4266 MT/s, twice that of LPDDR3, according to the JEDEC standard description.
Hynix, Samsung, and Micron-Elpida are expected to provide Apple with the components for the next-generation iPhone.
While 2 GB of RAM could mean a significant performance boost for the iPhone and is on top of many people’s wish lists, it’s better to take this rumour with a (great) pinch of salt.
