iTunes 12.1 Download Released, Brings New iTunes Widget in Notification Center [PIC]

Apple has released iTunes 12.1 for download for OS X and Windows. This update brings a new iTunes widget for Notification Centre for OS X Yosemite users, allowing you to see what’s playing, skip ahead and even buy songs right from the widget.

Also new is improved performance when syncing your iOS device.

Once you’ve installed the update (Mac App Store > Updates tab), you’ll see that there’s “1 New” widget to install within Notification Center. Click there, then add the iTunes widget.

I just keep Itunes open on its own desktop, this will be handy though so I can control the music on any of them
