iWork for iCloud Available to Users Without Apple Hardware

Apple has made Pages, Numbers, and Keynote accessible to users on all platforms through iCloud Beta, eliminating the need to own an Apple device. As of last night, anyone who has an Apple ID can access the apps by logging into beta.icloud.com.

Such customer accounts come with 1 GB of data storage, which is enough to store files created using Apple’s productivity software.

So, if you are using Windows or Android, you can access the iCloud beta website, where, at the top of the page, you’ll get a notification inviting users with non-Apple hardware to create an Apple ID and start using the software trio.

After creating an Apple ID, users will be welcomed by four icons: Pages, Numbers, Keynote, and Settings. Although currently limited to the iCloud Beta website, the move suggests that Apple will likely rollout the feature to the official iCloud site in the future.

Apple integrated its iWork suite apps into iCloud in 2013. Since then, the company has been polishing the apps, adding features such as interactive charts, expanded language support, and more.
