Steve Wozniak Talks Apple Watch, Addiction and Seth Rogen [VIDEO]

Woz

Despite no longer working for the firm, Apple co-founder and one of the most influential and respected men in the tech industry, Steve Wozniak a.k.a Woz, is still enthusiastic about the company’s upcoming products.

In an interview with the BBC, he talked about whether the Apple Watch would be a success, what may be next on the horizon, and how he felt about being played by Vancouver actor Seth Rogen. For those who aren’t aware, Woz’s impact at Apple is set to be depicted in Steve Jobs, a Danny Boyle-directed film about the late Apple CEO.

Is the eventual success of the watch really in question? Even if it doesn’t take off right away, it’s gonna be huge. Ken Chenault (AMEX CEO) predicts mobile payments, just one aspect of the watch, will reach 26% market saturation by 2017 – up from just 0.09% today – in the realm of eCommerce alone.

(Don’t worry, I’m not a freak – I happened to have the article open already: http://fortune.com/2014/05/21/american-express-ceo-ken-chenault-theres-a-25-trillion-opportunity/)

Plus, yeah, since it’s an Apple product… I think lots of people will rush to buy it anyway, and it will snowball from there, regardless of any perceived uslessness (for want of a better word).
