TELUS Holds Sale on Cellular iPad Air, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3
TELUS has discounted a variety of cellular iPads by $50, for those jumping on the company’s Easy Tablet plan, as part of a “limited time offer.”
This program allows customers to own iPads but pay it off (interest free) by adding $20 to their monthly bill over 2 years. A requirement is a Flex Data Plan or an add-on to your existing SharePlus plan starting at $5 per month.

Below are the cellular iPads on sale:
- 16GB iPad Air 2 – $160 (save $50)
- 64GB iPad Air 2 – $270 (save $50)
- 16GB iPad mini 3 – $50 (save $50)
- 64GB iPad mini 3 – $160 (save $50)
- 16GB iPad Air – $50 (save $50)
So let’s take the 16GB iPad Air 2 for example (which costs $689 from Apple). Up front you’d pay $160, then pay $20 per month for two years, plus your $5/month (starting) for data.
If you do not go over your initial flex data allotment (of 10MB for $5!), the iPad Air 2 after two years would cost you $770 ($160 + $480 + $120 + $10 for the SIM), which is $80 more than buying it up front (basically paying for 240 MB of data).
