BMW production chief Oliver Zipse says that he could imagine building a car for Apple. In response to a question about whether BMW could imagine building a car for a software company, he said:

We live in a world of partnerships

The car manufacturer says that building a car for any tech company, like Apple or Google, wouldn’t be out of the question. While rumours about an Apple Car have been circulating for a long time, they picked up momentum when Tim Cook asked Apple VP Steve Zadesky to lead a mystery car project called “Titan.”

Do you think a partnership with Apple and BMW would work? Let us know in the comments below.
