Apple Confirms Home Sharing for Music Will Return in iOS 9

Apple’s iTunes chief Eddy Cue has again taken to Twitter to respond to Apple customers, this time answering the call to explain “We are working to have Home Sharing in iOS 9”, after being asked when the feature would be restored after it was removed in iOS 8.4.

For those frustrated Home Sharing was removed for music streaming in iOS 8.4 (aside from the Apple TV), expect the feature to return this fall (or maybe even earlier) when iOS 9 arrives.

Last week, Cue also mentioned on Twitter a new beta of iOS 9 would arrive for developers that would support Apple Music.
