Front Panel of ‘iPhone 6s’ Depicted in New Photos, Said to Be in Production


An image said to be the front panel of the upcoming “iPhone 6s” has been shared by today, giving us a first look at the screen for the device.

According to the French site, the front panel images were shared by an informant who said that the iPhone parts are currently in production and ready to be shipped to iPhone 6s assembly lines. The screen in the image will reportedly be used for the Silver and Gold iPhone 6s.

As an “S” upgrade, the iPhone 6s is expected to have the same design as the iPhone 6, which was confirmed with the leaked images above that look identical to an iPhone 6’s front panel.

The next-generation iPhone is will reportedly focus on upgraded internal components, which will lead to performance and battery life improvements. The upgrade may also re-engineer the internal structure of the device to make it more durable.


The report notes that the source could not confirm whether the front panel included sapphire crystal or hints of Force Touch support.

Along with Force Touch, the iPhone 6s is expected to included an improved 12-megapixel camera, A9 processor, 2GB of RAM, a better Touch ID sensor, and a new rose gold colour option. Mass production of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus is rumoured to begin this month.
