TELUS has launched a new $5 per month call forwarding package, which now includes forwarding to any North American number and includes long distance. Previously, this was $3 per month for forwarding to an American number only and did not include long distance.
The plan, while not advertised on the TELUS website (yet), was confirmed by members on RedFlagDeals speaking with the company’s web chat, and others which hinted they had access to internal memos.
Some members referenced how this new $5 per month call forwarding package, coupled with Roam Mobility’s $3.95/day plan with unlimited text, data and talk, could make for a decent travel setup in the USA. People calling your regular Canadian number would be forwarded to your US number from Roam Mobility. Both sides would be able to chat without incurring long distance.
TELUS recently launched US Easy Roam, which allows customers to use their Canadian plans in the USA for $7 per day.

TELUS has a new $5/month Call Forwarding add-on. This feature allows customers to redirect incoming calls to any North American number with no toll and no airtime charges for up to 3000 calling minutes.
