WatchOS 2 Release Postponed Due to Bug

Although according to Apple’s software release schedule announced last week the WatchOS 2 should have been pushed out later today, USA Today tech columnist Ed Baig has learned that Apple has found a bug in the software, thus delaying its release (via MacRumors).

TechCrunch has more details on the matter:
“We have discovered a bug in development of watchOS 2 that is taking a bit longer to fix than we expected,” an Apple spokesperson told TechCrunch. “We will not release watchOS 2 today but will shortly.”
It seems that iOS 9 releases today remain unaffected. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you posted.
