Codenamed Bakepale, the latest v2.0.0 beta 6 update to jailbreak tool Palera1n has just been released, which fully supports iOS 16.4 - iOS 16.4.1 jailbreak.
Untethered iOS 9.1/9.2 Beta Jailbreak Achieved via Remote Web Browser
You know Apple’s devices are renowned for their security, but ultimately everything can be hacked, even an iPhone running the latest and most secure version of iOS, especially when the prize is $1 million in USD.
Back in September, on the eve of the iOS 9 launch, newly founded startup Zerodium, a premium zero-day acquisition platform, launched “The Million Dollar iOS 9 Bounty.” For an individual or team to win $1 million, it needed to submit an exclusive, browser-based and untethered jailbreak for the latest Apple mobile operating system.
In case you thought those good old jailbreakme.com times were over: someone just proved to Zerodium that in 2015, there is a bug (or a series of bugs) in iOS that makes the remote-browser-based iOS 9.1 and iOS 9.2 beta untethered jailbreak possible.

The news was announced by Zerodium on Twitter, but don’t expect it to be available to the public, since the startup just shelled out a seven-figure number for it. The company has even kept the winner’s name private — so far. What do you think about this?
