Still trying to find out where you can use Apple Pay? If you haven’t followed our tips on how to find an Apple Pay ready retailer, American Express has now listed some stores where you can try the mobile wallet, in an update on their website this morning.

Here are the places you should hit up next to test Apple Pay:

Have you tried Apple Pay at any of these stores listed by Amex?

Hey Gary, I just noticed you typed recall instead of Rexall! 🙂
Thanks! Damn auto-correct on Mac…had a total recall moment there 😉
lol np! It’s ironic I find my self re-reading my messages more when I have auto-correct on…
Haha that’s so true. You never know when a word will magically morph into something else…
There’s another typo/formatting error. You have
Jean CoutuLondon Drugs
in one bullet. Where it should be
Jean Coutou
London Drugs
Thanks. Also Garage too. All fixed.
I’ve used apple pay at a lot more places than the ones listed. McDonalds also works.
Depends on local mc dees .Some don’t take Amex which means no Apple Pay…
Canadian Tire works.
Couche Tard (also known as Mac’s in English Canada) doesn’t support Apple Pay but supports Amex. I hate it when that happens!
I used it at Indigo and Starbucks today. Worked great.
Sent an email off to Hudon’s Bay, and a few other chains who accept American Express, but either don’t have tap-to-pay turned on, or else their machines don’t support tap-to-pay.
The list will get longer if we all email the stores where it doesn’t work. I’ve got positive responses so far from those stores I’ve emailed.
Agreed! I’ve done the same for Thrifty Foods. The response I got was they weren’t going to set it up anytime soon. I said let me know when they do, as I’ll return as a customer. Hello Save-On
I used it at MUCHO BURRITO!! It was awesome.
Guy at the cash was like “WTF!”
#brainexplosion
Yes, the strange responses from cashiers are awesome. 🙂
Save-On-Foods and 7-11 also work.
the fuel pump at Ultramar crashed when I tried.
Was there an explosion?
It worked at Second Cup!
It even worked at Canadian Tire and shoppers…. In surrey bc????????????
Yes, It didn’t work at Starbucks I was in the other day. had to tap with my card.
Worked at Mark’s Work Wearhouse for me yesterday. The cashier was kind of excited, she said she knew the technology was coming but hadn’t seen it yet. Then she made a comment about “crazy kids these days.” 🙂
Wow, would never have expected MWW. Good for them.
Worked at Subway.
Didn’t work at Staples in Kelowna.
SAQ (liquor store in Quebec) was a no-go. Tried twice got error every time. American Express is accepted at this store.
SAQ uses TD Canada Trust payment terminals. I had success with AMEX contactless but not with AMEX through Apple Pay. Could it be that TD is blocking Apple Pay on purpose ?
It worked at Shoppers Drug Mart and a Subway restaurant that accepts AMEX
It seems to me that Apple Pay works with some terminals that normally don’t support AMEX contactless but support AMEX chip&pin and MC/VISA contactless
