Scotiabank for iPad Updated to Support Touch ID Logins
Scotiabank has released a minor update for their iPad app to include Touch ID support for logins, catching up to their iPhone app which received support back in October. This update also details customers will be able to “View your Personal loan details and make prepayments at your convenience,” while it also includes “many enhancements and provides support for new Scotiabank products.”

I’m surprised (well, not really) Scotiabank hasn’t released a universal app for iPhone and iPad yet. Let us know how Touch ID logins work for you. Touch ID is available on the iPad mini 3 and up, iPad Air 2 and iPad Pro.

Doesn’t work. I can’t find anywhere in the settings to turn it on. I have an iPad mini 4.
Ok boys of iPhoneInCanada. I have an update. The Scotiabank App update says there is now Touch ID login, but I called Scotiabank and she said no, there is no login Touch ID for the iPad. (Lower head, cradle forehead in hand)
I have an iPad mini 4 there is nothing in the Scotiabank app that says anything about Touch ID.
I have an iPhone 7 and I’m with Telus.
In my Scotiabank app there’s no option for Touch ID. Is it because I’m with Telus ?
