RBC has teamed up with Uber Canada to offer a promo for RBC Rewards and Avoiners. Starting today, customers paying for any Uber rides (worldwide) with eligible RBC credit cards will earn double the RBC Rewards points. Those with existing cards tied to their Uber app will start earning bonus points automatically.
For first time Uber riders, they can get up to $20 off their first ride with promo code RBCREWARDS, when paying with their RBC credit card.
Ian Black, general manager of Uber Canada, said in a statement “As we begin the holiday season, we’re thrilled to work with RBC to give riders even greater value for their money.”
Uber currently operates in over 350 cities worldwide in 64 countries, and allows users to request rides, pay and receive emailed receipts directly from the company’s smartphone app. Yesterday, the company launched uberHOP in Toronto, a $5 flat rate shared ride service to and from select locations in downtown.
