Apple’s iTunes Movie Trailers Now Available on the Canadian App Store

In 2011, Apple introduced the iTunes Movie Trailers app for iOS, however the release was limited to the United States. Today, the Cupertino-based company is bring the app to the Canadian App Store.

For movie buffs, Tunes Movie Trailers puts the newest HD movie previews in your hands. Browse trailers, clips and features for the biggest Hollywood blockbusters and independent cinema, view stunning HD photos. Here is the full list of the app’s features:

– Access hundreds of movie trailers, clips, behind-the-scenes features and images, available in HD or SD
– Save your favourite movies for immediate access anytime
– Browse Top Charts to view the most popular trailers
– Read critic reviews provided by Rotten Tomatoes without leaving the app
– Enjoy your favourite movie trailers on your TV with AirPlay and Apple TV
– Share your favourite trailers with friends using AirDrop, Facebook, Twitter, Messages and Mail
– Keep your favourite movie trailers up-to-date on all of your devices using iCloud

Apple’s iTunes Movie Trailers app is available as a free download from the Canadian App Store. The app requires any device running iOS 8.0.

On a hunch, I went to the App Store on my AppleTV 4 and found the Trailers app under Purchased. So thanks Apple for making the App universal and finally getting it to work in Canada.
