Apple Campus 2: March 2016 Construction Update via Drone [VIDEO]

Drone pilot Duncan Sinfield has just uploaded another Apple Campus 2 construction update to his YouTube channel, part of his ongoing monthly coverage of the site’s progress. The latest video below showcases how quickly the buildings are being constructed as of the beginning of March 2016.

Sinfield gets his drone incredibly close to these structures, almost too close for comfort, but it appears he has excellent flight skills to capture precise footage of the site:

The video shows canopies have been installed partly on the inner side of the building along curved glass window facades, while we also get a glimpse of solar panels being prepped before installed onto the building’s rooftop.

The outer side of the building still needs to have air vents, glass panes and canopies installed, while the 1,000 seat underground auditorium has been now covered with cement, while the lobby rooftop has been installed into place.

We also get a glimpse of the 100,000 square foot fitness centre, the dual parking garages which can hold up to 10,980 parking spots, and the underground vehicle tunnels leading to and from the parking garages, plus more.

Apple Campus 2 will have 2.82 million square feet of office space and support up to 12,000 employees, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2016.
