iPhone SE Preorders in China Surpass 3.4 Million

According to data from local retailers, Apple’s new iPhone SE seems to be a major hit in China, with preorders exceeding 3.4 million units since they began on Thursday, March 24 in North America, Europe and Asia, CNBC is reporting. The source says that gold iPhone SE was the most popular model accounting for 1.3M preorders, followed by the rose gold colour which accounted for 1.2M units.
While Apple is yet to release the official numbers, the above figures definitely sound impressive, and if they turn out to be correct, adding in orders directly from Apple and in other countries could see overwhelming sales numbers, especially for a revamped iPhone model.
