Tweaked Music App Spotted on Apple TV with New ‘Browse’ Tab
According to a report from 9to5Mac, Apple is expected to change the ‘New’ tab within the Apple Music app on the Apple TV to ‘Browse’. The change was reported earlier this month and has been verified today by a 9to5Mac reader.
The ‘Browse’ tab only appeared in the app briefly and then returned to the ‘New’ tab currently found in the app. The report notes that the brief change was likely an over-the-air change and was unrelated to yesterday’s tvOS update to version 9.2.1.

The reader’s screenshot of the Apple TV also shows that the ‘My Music’ tab was renamed to ‘Library’ and ‘Playlists’ no longer has its own section.
We are expecting a tweaked navigation bar within the Apple Music app in the next major update of tvOS and iOS 10.
