Google Paid Apple $20 Billion to be Default Safari Search Engine in 2022
Court documents show that Google paid Apple $20 billion USD to be the default search engine for Safari on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Apple this morning released third betas of iOS 9.3.3, tvOS 9.2.2 and OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 for developers to test on their devices.
The releases come roughly two weeks after second betas were seeded to developers, just prior to WWDC. There’s no word on any major feature changes (especially with iOS 10 beta out), aside from the expected bug fixes and performance improvements. Stay tuned.
