Walmart Canada Launches Shopping App as Mobile Becomes Largest Driver of Traffic

Walmart is looking to make items in its catalog and deals easier to find with its new shopping app. On Wednesday, Walmart Canada announced the launch of its new shopping app for iOS and Android.

The app allows Canadians to save their favourite items, browse weekly flyers for deals, receive notifications about rollback pricing, view product reviews, and take advantage of their grocery pickup feature. Walmart’s grocery pickup feature is currently only available in Toronto and Ottawa.

Walmart Canada Online Shopping for iOS is available as a free download from the App Store. The app requires any device running iOS 8.0 or later. Walmart has also released an Android version of the app on the Google Play Store.
