Apple’s iPhone 7 Won’t Connect to Several Android Wear Watches

According to a report from The Verge, various Android Wear devices do not work with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Owners of Android smartwatches have been able to use their watches with their iPhones since August of last year when Google added support for iOS. Devices that have stopped working with the iPhone 7 include the Moto 360 (2015), Moto 360 Sport, Tag Heuer Connected, Asus Zenwatch 2, and Fossil Q Founder.

Users have been reporting the watches hanging during the setup process. Apple has recently fixed some compatibility issues with the release of iOS 10.0.2, but the problem remains with some specific models of the watch.

This is a problem that’s likely affecting a small number of people, however, it is an issue that Apple needs to solve.

Same here. I have to pair it each time I get into the car.

I haven’t had to pair it since the first time I did it, 2016 Hyundai Accent. I do have some issues with my shower speaker that my 6s didn’t have. Hopefully 10.1 fixes some of these issues.
