Rogers Promo: 7GB Share Everything+ Plan for $100 Per Month

Are you currently signed up to a Rogers Share Everything+ plan? You may want to call in and switch to these latest promos from the company, as right now 5GB plans get 2GB bonus data for 7GB total.

Here’s a breakdown of the prices for a 7GB total Share Everything+ plan, based on subsidy tiers:

  • Premium+ Tab: $125 for 7GB
  • Premium Tab: $115 for 7GB
  • Smart Tab: $105 for 7GB
  • No Tab (BYOD): $100 for 7GB
Overages are charged at $5/100MB, or $50 for 1GB of data. If you were on an older plan with data overage charges of $15/1GB, you’ll lose that lower rate if you switch to these new ones.

Also available is a 2GB bonus on the 2GB Share Everything+ plan, starting at $85 per month with BYOD and up to $100 on Premium Tab. Meanwhile, other non-shared BYOD plans also get a promo, with a $55/month plan getting 250MB of data and a $70 plan with 3GB (1.5GB plus 1.5GB bonus).

These offers are “available to new and existing customers in-store, via call centre, live chat and rogers.com”, according to the fine print. Is it me, or does the Rogers.com website continue to get more complicated? There’s way too much information to digest, which can easily confuse and overwhelm customers.

We recently switched from Fido to Public Mobile’s promotional $38/month plan with 4GB data on our iPhone 7 Plus. Telus owns Public Mobile and operates the latter on its nationwide LTE network, so coverage and speeds are very good. You won’t get Wi-Fi Calling or VoLTE (yet) like Rogers and Bell, but your wallet will thank you (we are saving $600/year thanks to the switch!).

Click here to follow our tutorial on how to switch over to Public Mobile with your iPhone.

Thanks Andy

Should I get on this from the Koodo SK/MB plan? I hear Rogers is really strong in Alberta now and Koodo sounds like they’re about to kick me off my plan; I can’t get ANY customer support without updating my plan for example.

Koodo SK/MB plan blows this out of the water … recent public mobile plan too, i would say – as mentioned above … is miles ahead of this offering.

What is better about it? They increased my price by $5 which is still the best on the market easy but I have to wonder if they’re going to kick me off soon.

About an hour after I called, a co-worker tried to do the same. The plan that I had just switched to (BYOD Local Calling, 5gb + 2 bonus gb for $95, Alberta) was now $105. They must have updated the page right after I called in. Was the pricing on the website a mistake perhaps, and I lucked out?

Still $95 at 11:08pm EST. Make sure province is large market like ON or AB, BC, etc. I chose local calling and BYOD and also make sure it is 5gb + 2gb, not 7gb.

Telus came out with $95 for 6gb, which left Rogers with $100 for 5gb (obviously bad plan). Rogers had no choice but to do something and now they are as above… $100 for 7gb. This still is not a good deal though… it’s Rogers reacting to Telus until they find a way to charge you more.

That $50 overage doesn’t make sense. Aren’t the carriers forced to to cap extra charges at $50 anyways?

Does the bonus data expire after a certain period?

No, I think once you sign up with the bonus data you’ll retain it as long as you stay active on the plan.
