Developers running the latest beta of tvOS 10.1 now have access to the new “TV” app, which Apple announced at their keynote in October.

The new app simply called “TV” aims to bring a unified experience for discovering and accessing TV shows and movies from multiple sources on the Apple TV. Some have said that the app basically acts as a new home screen for the Apple TV.

The TV app includes features such as “Watch Now”, a place where viewers will see their collections of available shows and movies from iTunes and other apps. The “Recommended” feature includes curated and trending shows and movies, including collections handpicked by Apple’s curators.

MacRumors has posted a video showcasing its first look at the new TV app. Check it out below:

Unfortunately, the TV app will be available only in the United States, but let’s hope this will be for just a short period of time.
