Apple Music’s spinoff of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke will feature 16 episodes per season that feature a different celebrity host on each one. The spinoff will feature guests such as Metallica, John Legend, Alicia Keys, and Ariana Grande.

New details about the show emerged during a press event on Monday, as reported Variety. Instead of Corden performing all of the hosting duties, the show will make unlikely pairings, such as the aforementioned Metallica pairing up with comedian Billy Eichner. In a statement, Corden said:

“When you’re putting together a talk show you’re searching for the things that will define your show. Next thing you know hundreds of millions of people are watching it.”

The show will be produced by CBS Television Studios and will run for 16 episodes on Apple Music, with new episodes debuting weekly. The company has not yet announced a premiere date. In a statement, Apple’s head of software and services Eddy Cue said:

“We love music, and Carpool Karaoke celebrates it in a fun and unique way that is a hit with audiences of all ages. It’s a perfect fit for Apple Music.”

The version of the show being produced exclusively for Apple Music will be a standalone series with each episode running at a half-hour. The original show revolves around James Corden driving around with a musician or a celebrity, often singing hit songs.
