Transit App Gains Real-Time Crowdsourcing for BC, Quebec

Montreal-based Transit app has been updated to bring real-time crowdsourcing to users in BC and Quebec, available for all transit agencies in these provinces, such as Vancouver SkyTrain, BC Transit, STS and more. Other provinces will be getting the feature “shortly”, says the developers.

For users in Halifax, they now have real-time data and service alerts.

Also new in this update, if users board a different (overlapping) line while using the app, they will be able to tell them apart when using GO crowdsourcing.

A bug fix also addressed an issue when some GO departure countdowns weren’t working properly, while an issue with map zooming resetting was also squashed.

Transit launched its real-time crowdsourcing feature back in December.
