Stunning Bezel-Less iPhone 8 Concept Shows New Function Area

The first Apple iPhone was launched in January 2007 and this year marks its 10th anniversary. Recent rumours are speculating that the 2017 iPhone would be arriving with overhaul improvements to its design.
Apple is expected to launch three iPhone models this year: an 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch model akin to the size of the current iPhones, in addition to a special 10th year anniversary iPhone with a 5.8-inch display. Plenty of concept models of the alleged iPhone 8 have surfaced based on the speculated features and design that may arrive on the actual device.

As it can be seen in these renders, the iPhone 8’s physical home button has been replaced by an on-screen button that is equipped with Apple’s 3D Touch feature that can distinguish different levels of pressure.

There is a “function area” around it that can display customizable buttons. It functions like the Touch Bar available on the new MacBook Pro. Even KGI Securities analyst, Ming Chi-Kuo has speculated the inclusion of function area on the upcoming iPhone.

Apple is expected to bring radical changes to the iPhone’s design this year. The device is expected to run on Apple A11 chipset and iOS 11. Rumours also claim that Apple will debut an AR feature which indicates that the iPhone 8 may house a 3D depth-sensing camera that can be also used in other apps like games and facial recognition.

Those pictures look awesome. Can’t wait to have one in my hand.
I’d hate to be around you when you discover reality.
I used to buy an iPhone every 2 years. Went from the 3G to 4 to 5 and then 6. I have kind of lost interest. The evolution has slowed down – as would be expected. Let’s see what the next iPhone brings. I haven’t been terribly impressed with the leaks thus far. I suspect that pretty soon I will not be able to update the software on my phone. Maybe then I will get a new phone or maybe not….
DON’T UPDATE!!! That’s how they get you… new iOS runs super slow on the perfectly fine old device and makes you think it’s time for upgrade!
I will probably not go to iOS 11 on my iPhone 6 based on your suggestion. Thank you!
I was paid $104000 in 2016 by doing an online job from my house and I manage to do it by working part time for few hrs daily. I followed a business opportunity I came across from this website i found online and I am excited that I was able to earn such great money. It’s so user friendly and I’m so happy that i discovered this. This is what i do… http://libr.ae/rQu8
Don’t listen to him. Apple is going to sweep the store of apps that won’t support 64 bit. You’re going to have to update sooner or later regardless if you want to or not.
False.
There is usually a slight performance hit depending on the device upgrading.
The usual rule of thumb is not to update more than 2 versions higher than the OS that came with your device. After that you will notice a difference. However, you put yourself at risk because security patches come in later os versions.
I’m running 10.3 beta 5 (I think it’s 5) on my 5s with no problems and no loss in performance…
The next iPhone is going to be awesome unlike previous generations. It’s also going to have nasty bugs. Wait for the iPhone 8S.
Agree that the phone will be a significant upgrade, but I’ll probably grab an 8 instead of waiting for the 8S. Every phone release has bugs, will hope this one will be solved early on.
I think it looks pretty cool. Just hope I have enough cash to pay for it. ????
Do you guys have the intelligence of a cucumber? These pics are not even rumours. They’re simply concepts. I was going to just skip this blog post but like a train wreck, I had to take a look (not at the post) but at the comments.
LOL, was thinking the same.
I’m exactly the same when it comes to these posts. I just look at the pictures and go straight to the comments for a good laugh.
Looking at the comments, I think I know why these articles are so popular – people don’t have a concept of what a concept is. Also, the author describes a thin bezel as “bezel-less”. Sigh.
it looks okay – I’m not sure I want a bezel-less iPhone. I need a place for my fingers to hang onto that doesn’t block/touch the screen. they’ll have to up their finger-rejection game if this is the future – at the moment it sucks if your finger is accidentally touching the screen on another quadrant of the phone and you’re trying to do something.
