Uber Launches UberEats Food Delivery Service in Montreal

Today, Uber announced that it has launched its food delivery service called UberEats in Montreal. The service is an on-demand food delivery service that helps bring Montrealers the food they want with one click.

UberEats is launching with over 100 partners in Montreal, bringing a wide selection of meals for any occasion. Starting today, the service will be delivering a wide selection of quality eats from places like L’Gros Luxe, Europea, Venice MTL, and Uniburger. In a statement, Montreal UberEATS Manager Greg Perowne said:

“By partnering with more than 100 local Montreal restaurants, we are proud to help Montrealers order food from their favorites restaurants – at the push of a button. Beyond great meals, UberEATS creates new flexible economic opportunities for restaurant and delivery partners that will benefit the Montreal economy.”

As much as the service benefits the customer, it also greatly benefits the restaurant partners as well. In a statement, L’Gros Luxe CEO Alex Bastide said:

“L’Gros Luxe restaurants are very pleased to partner with UberEATS, enabling hundreds of thousands of Montrealers to discover our cuisine with the push of a button or to order their favorite dishes. More and more people are turning to delivery and the fact that Uber has adapted their technology is a great news for Montreal and the customers of L’Gros Luxe.”

Montrealers can start using UberEats today by download the UberEats app or by visiting ubereats.com.
