Apple Launches LivePhotosKit JS to Embed Live Photos on Websites
Apple has announced a new API called LivePhotos JS, which will allow users to embed their Live Photos on the web:
This new JavaScript-based API makes it easy to embed Live Photos on your websites. In addition to enabling Live Photos on iOS and macOS, you can now let users display their Live Photos on the web.
Apple says the LivePhotos JS player will support iOS (Safari, Chrome), macOS (Safari, Chrome, Firefox), Android (Chrome beta) and Windows (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Internet Explorer 11).

They’ve been around long enough that they should be able to be saved as one file that contains the still and the live photo and played back on your Mac.. and they should also release a tool to play them back on a PC.
