We’ve taken a look at the state of plans from Rogers, Telus, Bell and Freedom for September 2026, and their flanker brands in our Fido, Virgin and Koodo roundup. To round things off, let’s also check out pricing for prepaid brands Public Mobile, Lucky Mobile, Chatr and Fizz (which usually need autopay or Auto Top-Up for the best pricing), compared with our April prepaid compare.
Public Mobile
Public’s lineup still has ‘back to school offer’ labels on its 5G plans. But we’re not seeing any price increases.
Lucky Mobile
As for Lucky Mobile, the $25/25GB and $39/$47 high-data tiers are gone, and the top plan is now $35/30GB. These data amounts are after auto top-up is enabled, of course.
Chatr
Chatr’s current Auto-Pay ladder looks a lot like Lucky’s after the July data cut, with $35/30GB as the “best deal” card. The annual $159/40GB option is still around if you want to pay once. The $19/500MB plan has been eliminated.
Fizz
As for Fizz, comparing plans to July, we’re seeing lower entry price points of $20/1GB and $24/5GB. Prices from here have crept up but we are seeing a lot more data than before, plus all plans are 5G (except for the talk and text plan). You can max out at a $50/200GB plan from Fizz that is only for Canada.
Let’s see what fall offers and Black Friday will bring as that’s when the best cellphone plans pop up.
