Apple Watch Earth Day Challenge: Get Outside for 30 Mins, Earn Special iMessage Stickers

With Earth Day set for April 22, Apple has not only shared details of their environmental initiatives, but they have created a new Earth Day Challenge in the Activity app for Apple Watch users.

A new achievement called Earth Day Challenge says:

Get outside and celebrate Earth Day on April 22 and earn this award. Go for a walk, run, cycle, wheelchair or swim workout of 30 minutes or more in the Workout app or in any third party app that writes these workouts to Health. You will also earn special stickers for Messages.

You can see this challenge by launching the Activity app on your iPhone, tapping on the Achievements tab and then tapping the blank achievement up in the top left:

Apple has made previous achievements to celebrate holidays, such as the previous Ring in the New Year challenge, which required users to close all three of their Activity rings for a full week, to earn a new achievement badge and iMessage stickers (we haven’t stopped our rings streak since that challenge began in January).
