Apple Park June 2017 Drone Tour in 4K [VIDEO]
Drone pilot Matthew Roberts has shared a new video of Apple Park, in what is titled a ‘June’ update, despite being posted in late May (he’s trying to publish first before fellow drone pilot Duncan Sinfield), a trend we’ve seen for a while.
This latest video shows further progress to Apple Park, including more landscaping within the building’s centre ring, including a closer look at the Steve Jobs Theatre. The flyover also shows a first glimpse of the preserved historic Cupertino barn Apple had taken apart and rebuilt plank by plank. The century-old barn was passed down from former owners of the site, Hewlett-Packard.
The footage again shows the incredible detail Apple has put into Apple Park, sparing no expense. Earlier this month, Wired got an exclusive look at the company’s new headquarters, which revealed the fine details the company is putting into the building.
The company’s Chief Design Officer Jony Ive said, “We don’t measure this in terms of numbers of people. We think about it in terms of the future. The goal was to create an experience and an environment that felt like a reflection of who we are as a company. This is our home, and everything we make in the future is going to start here.”
