Speed Test: Apple’s iPhone 8 Plus vs iPhone 7 Plus [VIDEO]

We have all heard Apple say that the new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are the “best” iPhones ever made. But how do this year’s models compare to its predecessors in speed?

EverythingApplePro has released another video showing the iPhone 8 Plus versus the iPhone 7 Plus in a head-to-head speed test. During the video he performs a variety of tests, including boot up tests, benchmarks with Geekbench and AnTuTu, camera tests, and Touch ID tests.

the whole app closing / opening “test” is completely meaningless to me, personally.
also … zero care about few seconds of reboot speed this or that way…
tldw : iphone 8 is faster… shocking, i know…zzz

The shocking part is that the 7 dominated the 8…… nobody cares about the actual act of opening and closing apps. But you would expect the 8 to be better…

That’s not what “click bait” is. In this case, it’s just lazy reporting. But look who the author is, which says a lot.

I was a proud owner of an iPhone 6 was it suddenly fell into the sink a week before the release of the iPhone 8. So, I’m now a proud owner of an iPhone 8. I do find it a lot brighter, faster, and louder. I’m still debating whether or not I should have jumped the apple ship and bought the Note 8. For now, happy with the 8
