What’s New in iOS 11.1 Beta [VIDEO]

Apple released its first beta of iOS 11.1 yesterday for developers and now we have a look at what’s new in this latest beta release, as noticed by YouTube channel EverythingApplePro.

According to the channel, here are some changes in iOS 11.1 beta:

  • Lockscreen unlock animation is slightly tweaked and faster
  • Camera shortcut from Lockscreen now ‘pops’ into view instead of just sliding in
  • Jumping from a notification to the respective app has a new ‘bounce’ effect
  • ‘Rubber banding’ when tapping the status bar to return to the top of a page slows down at the end
  • iBooks now has updated iOS 11 icons along the bottom tab
  • Keyboard now suggests up to 3 emojis
  • Incorrect passcode attempts no longer have haptic feedback
  • Assistive Touch in Accessibility gets new options
  • Assistive Touch: now opens depending on where the floating button is based on screen
  • Assistive Touch: new Siri, Home and Gestures icons
  • Restrictions: new iOS 11 camera icon
  • Music: new Now Playing splash screen shows you where “up next” is located
  • Feedback iOS app has returned
  • Reachability has a display bug with overlapping icons
  • Siri has a lock screen bug with Touch ID
  • 3D Touch app switcher has not returned yet
