Apple has just released iOS 11.1.2 for download, available for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. We’re not seeing the over-the-air update yet for our iPhone X, but it should be out shortly.
Update: we’re now seeing the update for iPhone X, at 51.4MB in size. Apple says this update fixes the unresponsive screen bug for iPhone X in cold weather, while also addresses an issue that “could cause distortion in Live Photos and videos captured with iPhone X.”
To get this update, go to Settings > General > Software Update on your iOS device.

Has anyone else has issues with Significant Locations (SF) not working properly since iOS11? Since updating from iOS 10 the Maps widget tells me to turn on SF but it already is and continues to log locations. I have tried restoring several different ways and currently working with Apple to solve the issue. I’ll check if this update fixes it but I’n not holding out much hope. Just curious to know if there are other phones out there doing the same thing.
im afraid to update my iphone x. I have 11.1 and everything works perfectly. I literally have no issues with the phone. Might just wait for the apple cash in canada update.

The release notes make no mention of updates/fixes to anything other than iPhone X. No new security fixes either. So what else is included that necessitates a release for every other supported device? An update just for the sake of matching version numbers seems like a waste of everyone’s time…
