Telus Employees Hit Goal of 1 Million Volunteer Hours in 2017 [VIDEO]
Telus has announced its employees have volunteered 1 million hours across communities in Canada in 2017, as announced on YouTube:
Thank you, Canada! 2017 was an incredible year. With your help, we volunteered a #MillionHours in communities across the country. Together, we made the future friendlier for all Canadians.

The company detailed the following stats on how they reached 1 million volunteer hours in 2017, saying “we did it together and we’d do it a million times over”:
- 310,000 hours making the world a greener place
- 490,000 hours building healthy communities
- 200,000 hours inspiring Canadian youth
Telus started their #MillionHours pledge to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday in 2017, urging employees to give back where they live, work and serve.
