Videotron Promo: $29.95/2GB BYOD Plan for Up to Four Lines
Videotron has a new promo for users requiring multiple lines and aren’t heavy data users, as right now you can get a $29.95 per month BYOD plan with 2GB data—with unlimited Canada-wide calling. You will be saving $15 per line as part of this family discount.

Here’s what’s included in each plan, which requires four lines per account:
- 2 Gb of data
- Unlimited calls anywhere in Canada
- Unlimited text messaging
- Unlimited photo and video messaging from Québec
- Call Waiting and Conference Calling
- Two free add-ons from among the following: Call Display, Call Forwarding, Voicemail
- The option to keep your current phone number
- Emergency service (911)
Previously, the minimum plan required for a family discount was at least $50-55 per month.
This 2GB mobile Basic plan is normally priced at $55.95 per month (It’s currently at $44.95), with extra data billed at $7 per gigabyte, and also includes club illico.
Again, if you and your family are normally in Wi-Fi coverage and do not require more than 2GB of data per month, paying $30 each per month with unlimited Canada-wide calling is not bad.

From what I understand, you have to be four members to benefit of this extra low price.
Yes, thanks, clarified.
6 GB was 50$/month back in mid November, so I was able to snatch it for 35$/month under the family plan. Great deal.
Same here. We must’ve gotten it around the same time, literally two days after we got on board they’d raised the base price to $55 BYOD, and they’ve tweaked it even further so 5+1 bonus GB is now $60. Still way better than the big 3 and their flanker brands, but not quite as good as it was.
How about the signal strength in Ottawa(Kanata area)?
Acceptable signal (2/4 bars) near the Kanata Centrum area. I get half the speed as I did with Telus though. That’s still 4 to 7 MB/s (32-56 Mbps) though, more than my cable speed, so this isn’t actually a big deal in normal usage, just a readout from a speed test.
