TTC Cell Coverage Urged from Rogers, Telus, and Bell After Fatal Stabbing
Torontonians and city officials are once again asking Rogers, Bell, and Telus to provide cell service on the TTC after a teen was stabbed to death
After confirming price increases for small business and some consumer mobile customers yesterday, Bell has more price increases for customers, as their one-time connection charge fee has increased by 20% to $30 per device, up from $25.
The company confirmed the price increase today, according to MobileSyrup, which earlier noted an internal document detailing the changes, which applies to new accounts on a postpaid, small business or personal plans.
Earlier this month, Telus and its flanker brand Koodo debuted a $30 connection fee, while also eliminating its $20 charge for SIM cards.
The new $30 connection fee from Bell is effective starting today, which also applies to Virgin Mobile as well.
