The Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) has announced that there will be a new way to pay your taxes this year.
The agency has added PayPal as an option for Canadians to pay for their taxes just days before the April 30th personal income tax filing deadline. PayPal said that there are more than 6.5 million active users in Canada, as well as 250,000 small businesses that use the service. In a statement, President of PayPal Canada Paul Parisi said:
“Tax season is stressful. We wanted to help ease the pain and make it convenient for our customers to use their PayPal account to pay their federal taxes.”
“We are pleased to work with PayPal to make tax paying simple and secure. A digital payment solution like PayPal is ideal for Canadians who want to pay their taxes without revealing their bank account or credit card details to third parties.”

F*** paypal. they restricted my account saying i violated their terms. all i do is pay ebay, uber, ps4 and itunes on it. They give vague answers and wont provide specific information.
Hmmm. Am I missing something here? You can log into your banking and pay it for free. Which is electronically.
I think the point is you can pay with credit cards by extension now, which can be a relief if sh!t happens… though I think if sh!t happens you can also just ask nicely to defer until situations improve…
