Public Mobile has launched a new promo today, “as a competitive response,” offering a free SIM card and $20 bill credit for customers who activate at Walmart.
The company explains “we are offering a SIM card and a $20 account credit when you activate a Public Mobile SIM card on a 30 or 90-day Talk + Text plan at Walmart! This offer is available to new customers only until June 30, 2018.”
Eligible customers who have activated at Walmart on an eligible plan, will see their credit applied within 72 hours, towards their next renewal date. A confirmation text message will be sent when the credit has been applied to an account, while details can also be viewed within online Self-Serve.
SIM cards from Public Mobile normally cost $10 each, so coupled with this credit, customers are getting $30 worth of value.
