Apple Maps Adds Indoor Maps Feature for Airports in Montreal, Quebec City

Apple has added more locations for its indoor maps feature called ‘Looks Inside’ within Apple Maps, with two airports in Quebec now joining other airports in Canada.

Montreal Trudeau International Airport (YUL) and Quebec City Lesage International Airport (YQB) will now show points of interests in Apple Maps, such as checkpoints, restaurants, restrooms, coffee shops and more.

You’ll be able to see your location in the airport, while also quickly tap to move to layouts of each floor. These two airports in Quebec join Toronto Pearson, Edmonton and Vancouver International, as these were the original Canadian airports to join the service when it launched last year with iOS 11.

The ‘Look Inside’ feature can help travellers save time and skip the need to look for the airport directory, when trying to locate a gate, carousel or food court. Let’s hope the feature continues to expand to more airports in Canada.
