Bozoma Saint John Leaving Uber for Endeavor

According to a new report from Recode, former Apple executive Bozoma Saint John is leaving Uber for entertainment company Endeavor.

Saint John joined Uber at a very rough time, as the company was in the midsts of several scandals around sexual harassment. In an email statement, Uber CRO Dara Khosrowshahi said:

“I want to thank Boz for her contributions over the last year. Boz joined Uber at a time when the company was hurting—but her energy, optimism and creativity have been a key part of our ongoing turnaround. Endeavor is lucky to have her, and I’m excited to watch her work in her new role.”

Saint John will move to Endeavor as their chief marketing officer. The company manages groups like William Morris Endeavor, IMG, UFC and others. In a statement, Endeavor CEO Ariel Emanuel said:

“Boz’s strong creative vision has the power to create cultural moments that are transformative for brands. We’re excited for what it means when her vision comes face-to-face with our client roster and portfolio of brands who are shaping the cultural conversation around the world every day.”

Before joining Uber, Saint John led the Apple Music and iTunes group at Apple. She got into Apple as a part of the acquisition of Beats, which she joined just a few months prior to Apple buying them.
