The latest freebie is an Esso e-card which offers you savings of 2.5 cents per litre at Esso gas stations in Canada.
Once you tap “Download my e-card” within the Fido iOS app, you can then add it to the Esso Speedpass+ app, by entering the PIN code from the freebie card.
When using the Speedpass+ app, as long as this e-card is selected under Fuel Discount Cards (under the Wallet tab), the savings will be automatically applied.
According to the fine print, this e-card must be redeemed by July 18, 2018 at 11:59PM and is only available in limited quantities. The e-card is applicable towards 2000 litres of fuel, so with savings at 2.5 cents per litre, that works out to $50 in free gas. Not too shabby.
