We received a call from Fido the other day, offering a couple ‘win back’ offers consisting of $300 bill credits and 25% off a couple promo plans. Below is a look at what is currently being offered:
$80/month Plan with 5GB data
25% off monthly plan for two years = $60/month
$300 bill credit, eligible towards upfront smartphone upgrades
$90/month Plan with 10GB data
25% off monthly plan for two years = $71.25/month
$300 bill credit, eligible towards upfront smartphone upgrades
With the $300 bill credit, up front payments for the latest entry 64GB iPhone models are priced as follows:
$299 – iPhone X
$0 – iPhone 8 (you’ll get $71 credit leftover applied to your bill)
$59 – iPhone 8 Plus
There was also mention of a month-to-month BYOD plan as well, when we inquired about trying to get a $60/10GB plan. What was offered was 25% off a $70/10GB plan, which works out to $52.50 per month (discount good for 24 months only).
Month-to-month BYOD Plan
$70 plan with 10GB data
25% off = $52.50/month for two years
For former Fido customers, you can try calling 1-855-343-6946 and leaving a message to be called back for the win back offers. Calls are returned “as soon as possible”, and usually take less than a week.
If you don’t require a new phone, the $52.50 plan with 10GB data is not bad, but it’s only good for two years. Let us know if you’ve received any Fido ‘win back’ offers recently.
